Ava is not feeling well :(

Our little angel is not feeling well but she is the most pleasant sick baby! It started last night when we got home from some friends house. i thought she felt a little hot and she was just a little fussy and she normally is NEVER fussy! she is normally very pleasant and quiet. she was not crying just kinda whining almost whimpering in discomfort. she i took her temperature and she had a 99.5 temp. i didn't think much of it but was going to watch it because she is also teething and she has been running about 99 for a few weeks here and there and it was because of her cutting teeth! so she whimpered about every thirty minutes last night which is very unusual she is normally a sound sleeper. so around five am i could not take it any more and i took her temp again and it was around the same. so i looked for drs online and in our network. i could still hear her whining and was getting a little worried that she was not getting to where she was feeling any better. i had given her a little tylonal before i put her to bed thinking it would lower the fever.
well she ended waking up around seven this morning! i picked her up and kissed her like i always do but i have never kissed her head and felt her so HOT! so i immediatly took her temp again and sure enough it was 101.1. so i text one of our other friends because she had told me that she knew of a dr that was open seven days a week. and the dr i went to they were off for the holiday weekend. so i called them and they let me set up an appointment. we went in and she was weighed and she is now 17.8 lbs! that is a whole pound in a month! crazy growing girl! well that was possitive she is still eating great and not losing weight! then the dr came in and looked in her ears because i initailly thought ear infection becuase she had been grabbing her ears and behind her head lately! but i was wrong thank GOD! he listened to her chest and said sounds good. looked at her mouth and said she has a little resperatory issue. nothing a stronger over the counter med can't fix. so we went down the the pharmacy which is in the same building(very nice) and got the meds and walked out. she was so fussy on the way out. she layed her head on my shoulder and fell asleep in just a few seconds. she never does that so i know how bad she feels. we went home and she would not let put her down so we snuggled on the bed all day with daddy who also was not feeling great sense he cut his finger open at work three days ago! so we all just relaxed! we are playing right now and she seems to be feeling better her fever around 5:40 was 99 so we are back down. it has been jumping all around the place but i feel it is down. we are still giving a decongestent med and tylonal for the rest of the day every four hours!!! she has been my little snuggle bug today and i love that because normally she is all over the place and loves on me a little but i don't like that its becuase she is sick!

but she is still a smiling baby even when she is going though a little under the weather spell! she is still talking in her ava words up a storm and just as intertaining as always! just a wonderful joy she is to our lives! what would we do without this little girl! she is the best thing to happen to us! we love her so much and with all our hearts!!!
