Little Ava is two months old...

Well today was Ava's two month check-up was today! she was very talkative this morning and smiling. I felt so bad because i was taking her to get her shots today :( she was so happy and i hated to take her it just broke my heart.

I took some pictures right before we left for the appointment. she is such a cute little girl!!!



This is her waiting for the doctor. she was playing on her belly!!! we got bored waiting for the doctor. she was cooing and trying to scoot across the table. she got about half way before the doctor came it.


this is not the best picture but the doctor came in and she kept lifting her head up and the doctor said that she is holding her head up at a level that most 4 month old do! she is such an over achiever!!! the doctor also said that if we had a bumbo (the little chair they sit up in) that we could go ahead and use it becasue she is at a four month old level and it will be great practice for her!!!!
She is now 11lbs 8oz. which puts her in the 49th percentile. her head circumference is 15 1/2 which is also the 49th percentile. and her height is 23 3/4th which is in the 81st percentile. she is growing so fast! time is flying. she got her vaccines today. she got her first dose of DTP (Diphtheria Tetanus & Pertussis), Pneumococcal Conjugate, Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae Type B), and Rotavirus. At least one of those was not a shot it was an oral one. so she had one that tasted good!

I am giving her childrens tylonal every 4-6 hours because when i had these shots i ended up with a fever of 105.0 so they told me to keep her on it for 24 hours so she can have a good chance of not getting one. but i am still monitoring it. It kind of makes me nervous!

Well all in all she is a very healthy wonderful little girl who is very much an over achiever!!!! which works for us!!! we just love her so much it would not matter what she was doing!
