So amazed at our little girl!!!

So the first week has been so wonderful. I was expecting to be so tired and out of it. Especially with having a C-Section I thought i would be totally down for the count. But she has been so wonderful!

To start she has got breast feeding down and had it down really the second day! the specialist came in and was there for 5 minutes and was done and we have been great ever sense.

She eats so good! she did end up having jaundus but her level was only right above a 12 so they put her under the lights and supplimented her with a little fomula for a few days till my milk came in all the way. We go on friday to see if we still should supliment but i think that we are doing good because she doesn't really eat all of the formula after nursing. So i have hope that we will be off of it by the end of the week. Other than that she has had no problems her levels were very low by the time we left the hospital and she looks like she is keeping wonderful color and everything looks good. She has been pottying a normal amount so that is awesome.

We had a funny incident last night with my mom. Ava had been having wet diapers but she had not pooped in one in about 2 days. I could feel bubbles in her belly but nothing would move down. I felt so bad. But last night i guess it all decided to come out right before we all sat down for dinner. My mom was holding her and she heard her let out a big poo in the diaper. She thought she waited long enough and went to change her right before so she would sit in the swing while we ate dinner. well des and i sat down and started serving the plates for dinner. and we heard her scream and say ummm i could use some assistance... Well des (who moves much faster than me right now) ran in there and started laughing. Ava was fine ... but she was not done using the bathroom. My mom went to wipe her and she ended up finishing what she needed to do right then and my mom caught it!!! LOL she was laughing and probably a little grossed out! but not bad. We all had a good laugh and we will be sharing that one with her when she is a little older and understands what happened! That was so funny!
