UPDATE FROM LABOR & DELIVERY

Here's an update on Baby Ava from Jenn's mom from the labor and delivery room. Jenn is dilated to a "5" and is completely efaced for those of you familiar with those terms. The babies head is coming down. However, the baby's heart rate has been dropping during contractions, so we have stopped the pitocin for now and added fluids so that the baby is more comfortable. It seems to be working. If it keeps working -- all will go as planned with a normal delievery BUT if the Ava gets stressed again when the pitocin starts, Jenn will have a C-section.

Although Jenn would prefer not to have a c-section, she wants to do whatever is best for the baby. She was totally prepared in the back of her mind that a c-section was a good possibility.

Jenn and Dez would like you to say a prayer for whatever is best for Ava and that she will be a healthy strong baby.
